A line is drawn upon the sand,
On opposite sides of the gun they stand,
One side receiving, the other giving,
One side lies dead, while the other stands living,
Shooter meets victim, the lines begin to blur,
Where nothing is static, decisions unsure,
The fallen delights in seeing the end of his war,
As The victor dreads his obligation to fight once more,
Endless battles continue of conflicted affection.
